2024 Golf Tournament

The Hill Family Foundation hosted the 3rd Annual Grant Hill Memorial Golf Tournament on 14 June, at Cherokee Ridge Country Club with over 200 participants. The tournament raised $103,000 in sponsorships and donations for the Kids to Love (KTL) Grant Hill Trauma Team (GHTT). The GHTT treats youth battling depression from trauma and tragedy; treatment is conducted in the Smith Family Wellness Center, built in memory of Mark C. Smith. The facility has broken ground at 140 Castle Drive in Madison, AL. with plans for additional expansion in support of high-quality mental health care for the community.
The Hill Family Foundation recognizes our Platinum, Gold, and Silver partners and key sponsorships. We could not have exceeded our $100,000 goal without each sponsor and golfer. This event makes a large commitment to providing quality mental health and creating a stronger community.
AM Flight Tournament Winners: The Army CCDC Aviation & Missile Center (AVMC) Team led by John Steadman, received first place in the first flight AM Tournament.

Grand Prize Drawing Winners: Mr. Miller Jackson from the Jackson Law Firm Team received a 4 day, 3-night Sandals vacation, courtesy of Sandals Premier Travel Agency, R&R Travel. We would like to thank Robbie and Renee of R&R Travel for their support of the tournament through multiple giveaways, goodies and Sandals Resorts items. Mr. Richard Gibson, #1 Golfer in the Caribbean, and Sandals Resorts sponsored golfer, attended the event and participated in an additional capacity to support healing our community through fundraising efforts. Mr. Dave Ford of Bobby Rocha’s team won the largest prize from the general drawing, a pizza oven donated by Brooks and Collier.

Fighting The Battle: The Hill Family Foundation is researching, supporting, and encouraging scientific methods that promote mental health, wellness, and real recovery outcomes that lead to Christ Centered Lives. North Alabama youth’s severe depression is at epidemic levels and we are committed to bringing highly trained health care resources to our community.
