How We Started

  • Hill Foundation was formed in 2021 to Honor Grant Hill, a University of Alabama Football and Alabama Track Christian Athlete, who did not survive an accidental fall in the Colorado Mountains.

  • In 26 years of life, Grant impacted many lives through his counseling at middle school, high school, and Huntsville Alabama behavioral therapy centers.

  • Grant’s Dream was to establish a Mental Health and Sports Center in North Alabama to help athletes and young adults. Grant Hill was a 6ft-6in, 360lb gentle giant with a Life Goal as a Professional Counselor to help those having difficulty making life transitions.

  • The Hill Foundation Grant Hill Memorial Fund is Committed to Sponsoring Mental Health Care and Sport Services through better accessibility, better professional training, and better awareness.
